This first-of-its kind training program will provide clean energy development professionals with valuable tools to ensure their community engagement practices are aligned with the needs and challenges of today’s politically charged atmosphere. Community engagement has become the greatest immediate challenge to the clean energy transition. According to the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, 30% of proposed renewable energy projects are canceled, most because of community opposition.

This Solar 101 program is designed to help you get the most out of the upcoming RE+ conference. Join industry experts for a full day workshop designed for those who are interested in a crash course on the basics of the solar marketplace. Whether you are brand new to the industry or are looking to learn more about other sectors, the workshop will provide a wide overview of all things solar.

Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and Apprenticeships in Clean Energy (ACE) Network invite solar and clean energy companies and organizations to this Apprenticeship & Workforce Power Hour at RE+ 2024. This is a free networking event to facilitate connections with apprenticeship and workforce experts that can support companies in joining a registered apprenticeship program, launching an employer-sponsored apprenticeship program, or expanding the candidate pool for apprenticeship programs and other career opportunities.
